You've come to the right place if you want a creative, responsive designer for your group. Or maybe you're just one of my parents, trying to figure out what it is I actually do for a living.
I was born in Osaka, Japan. I moved to the United States at the age of 14.
My artistic inspirations still came from my grandmother who was a sumi-artist. Each brush stroke was important, and she started teaching me when I was in first grade.
As I a teenager in western art history, I learned that the color "black" was different from what I knew culturally as "black".
In Japan, the color "black" came from Sumi (burned coal) but in western culture black was mixed with "Ultramarine", "Burnt Umber", "Prussian blue", "Alizarin " and "Burnt Sienna". This fastination took me through my under-graduate degree to graduate school. Although , I did not completed graduate school, my fastination with color is still reflected in my design & art.
